Job summary

GDI Services Inc US is seeking an experienced manager to oversee our Janitorial operations on site. The role requires strong communication, initiative and the ability to make timely decisions that support a positive customer experience.

You will lead a team, ensure safety program compliance, complete leadership training, recruit and deploy staff, and manage budgets. Hands-on participation and adaptability to client needs are expected.

Qualifications

• 2 years proven leadership and management success.
• Previous experience as a manager in a janitorial or housekeeping services role.
• Experience with electronic timekeeping preferred.
• Ability to perform at the highest level with minimum supervision.
• Ability to communicate with all levels.
• Excellent decision making and people skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety program implementation and compliance.
• Complete all online management and leadership training and development.
• Recruit, hire, train and deploy a capable workforce.
• Ensure labor, supply and equipment budget targets are met.
• Conduct periodic quality audits and address deficiencies.
• Review performance with client leadership to meet cleaning expectations.
• Be able to adjust to changing customer needs.
• Be hands-on in all areas of the contract.
• Perform other duties to support operation.
