Qualifications

• 7+ years of multi-unit, high-volume Operations Leadership in Commercial Janitorial space.
• Ability to meet deadlines and make sound decisions in stressful situations.
• Strong customer service and employee relations skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills; able to multi-task and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Organize, direct, and control operational activities across division to meet specified cost and profit objectives and ensure that all work is performed in accordance with contract specifications across our clients.
• Assure the delivery and execution of all contracted janitorial services within the division.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers at all client locations.
• Maintain frequent communication across all client sites via phone calls, emails, and site visits.
• Work closely with supervisors and managers to develop their operational knowledge and management capabilities.
• Continuously monitor the overall performance of each site and make appropriate changes as needed.
• Work directly with client and internal teams to ensure billing and collections are processed in a timely manner.
• Comply with all GDI safety policies and procedures; report and investigate any employee accidents or near misses.
• Partner with local and national 3rd party vendors and suppliers for onsite material, supplies and equipment.
• Negotiate modifications to compensation or staffing plans based on site specific needs.
• Work with sales team to develop and grow the business / represent the GDI brand.
• Oversight of all employees in the region with direct supervision of all employees reporting to sites within territory including but not limited to Area Managers, Account Managers, and Cleaners.
