Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Site Operations Leader for the OneMHS Installation & Deployment (I&D) team. You will coordinate large-scale MHE installation projects on active construction sites, owning the schedule and managing on-site teams, procurement, and budget for $50M–$100M+ scopes.

You will work with mechanical and electrical leads, controls engineers, commissioning teams, and vendors to ensure on-time delivery, safety, and alignment across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Industrial/Mechanical Engineering or a STEM field.
• 5+ years in construction or project management or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years delivering cross-functional projects.
• 3+ years in material handling equipment (MHE) or automation environments.
• Experience with AutoCAD and BIM, and scheduling tools (Primavera, MS Project).
• Preferred: Six Sigma Green Belt or Lean, PMP certification, procurement systems knowledge (Coupa/SAP).
• Experience managing budgets, schedules, and technical workflows.
• Ability to travel up to 75% domestically in the USA.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the project schedule for MHE installation across greenfield and brownfield sites.
• Coordinate on-site activities across mechanical, electrical, controls, and commissioning teams.
• Lead vendor and cross-team coordination to resolve schedule conflicts and ensure sequencing.
• Manage procurement workflows and budget tracking for assigned projects.
• Develop and maintain cross-vendor installation instructions and engineering standards.
• Provide regular status updates to leadership and support DBRs/WBRs/MBRs with project metrics.
