Job summary

HITT Contracting Inc. is seeking a Commercial Construction Assistant Superintendent to support project scheduling, manage daily site documentation, and oversee punch lists through closeout. The role emphasizes coordination with subcontractors and ensuring safety compliance on site.

You will assist with planning and directing building activities to meet budget, quality, time, and safety objectives, while maintaining strong communication with project teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; 4-year degree preferred in construction/engineering/business.
• 2–5 years in commercial construction; tenant renovations and occupied-space work a plus.
• Project lead experience is advantageous and beneficial for scheduling.
• Ability to master software: ProCore, BlueBeam, Adobe, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist in formulating project schedule with the project manager.
• Maintain daily documentation of work orders and site conditions.
• Manage punch list and closeout processes through owner/architect approval.
• Enforce safety program across subcontractors and on-site team.
