Job summary

HITT Contracting is seeking a Commercial Construction Senior Superintendent to direct site work, uphold safety and quality standards, and lead the project team on site. You will liaise between project team members and clients, driving schedule adherence and efficient execution in a fast-paced environment.

Applicants should have 8–10 years of commercial construction experience, a four-year degree (preferred) and strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of commercial construction experience.
• Mastery of building processes and best practices.
• Ability to organize resources and meet deadlines.
• Project lead or superintendent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Understand and administer the HITT safety program for all subcontractors and incidents.
• Maintain HITT quality standards on all aspects of the project.
• Lead on-site safety and manage a safe jobsite for all involved.
• Maintain daily logs and manage punch list and closeout with owner/architect acceptance.
• Collaborate with the project manager to formulate schedules and ensure proper methods and sequences.
• Maintain relationships with subcontractors and ensure fair treatment.
• Ensure accurate daily documentation and identify issues early for solutions.
• Coordinate site facilities, utilities, and long-lead items.
• Collaborate with project manager and site operations throughout project life.
