Job summary

Gilbane Building Company is seeking a Senior General Superintendent to lead large-scale construction projects across multiple locations, with relocation and travel as needed. You will direct field teams, manage safety, and partner with owners and subcontractors to deliver on-time results.

Ideal candidates bring 15+ years of heavy commercial/industrial experience, a relevant degree, and OSHA 30 certification, with a proven ability to lead teams, manage budgets, and uphold safety standards on

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
• 15+ years of experience on large commercial/industrial projects.
• OSHA 30-hour certified.
• STS-C Certification.
• First Aid, CPR, AED, Stop the Bleed Training.
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Directs and coordinates trade contractors to meet the approved project schedule.
• Supervises and develops the project team.
• Manages the project budget for general conditions and Next 150/Site Services.
• Develops, documents, and communicates the work plan regarding changes in the field.
• Leads site walks with owner, architect/engineer, and financial institutions to show progress.
