Job summary

EDMO in California seeks a Senior Program Assistant to support the Senior Program Manager and step in as needed at site. You will help oversee daily operations, coach staff, and ensure a positive experience for participants.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Education or related field, with leadership or mentoring experience, strong communication, and a collaborative spirit. This is a 30-hour/week non-exempt role offering competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Child Development, or related field.
• Experience in after-school programs or supervision preferred.
• CPR/First Aid Certification is required by start date (in-person CPR).

Responsibilities

• Oversee site operations and assist Senior Program Manager.
• Provide leadership and training to staff.
• Ensure safe, engaging activities and positive behavior.
• Maintain attendance, inventory, and supplies.
• Communicate with parents and host site staff.
