Job summary

EDMO, a thriving educational nonprofit, seeks an energetic After School Instructor to deliver EDMO STEAM/SEL curriculum and train on all materials. The role focuses on mentoring, classroom management, and fostering social-emotional skills while engaging with students after school in a dynamic, costume-friendly environment.

You will support curriculum delivery, manage supplies, and collaborate with families and staff to ensure safe, positive experiences for every child.

Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age and have a High School Diploma or GED.
Experience working with groups of students is preferred.
Completion or willingness to complete the Instructional Assistant Exam; waiver possible with certain degrees.
Three positive work/character references are required.

Responsibilities

Approach education with passion and build positive role-model relationships with students.
Refine curriculum and add personal contributions as seen fit.
Interact with parents in a professional and energetic manner.
Lead engaging recreation activities to promote teamwork and fun.
Maintain supply inventory and classroom cleanup.
Attend staff meetings and professional development sessions.
Ensure all students are safe and have a positive learning experience.
