Job summary

EDMO is seeking a Senior Program Assistant to support the Senior Program Manager and stand in for at-site roles. You will help oversee daily operations, provide coaching to staff, and ensure a safe, positive experience for all students while adapting to evolving site needs.

You will manage site activities, support program delivery, supervise staff, communicate with families, and collaborate with host-site partners.

Qualifications

• Experience in after-school programs or educational settings; supervisory/leadership experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Education, Child Development, or related field preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Site management and daily operations oversight.
• Program support including activities, SEL and STEAM elements.
• Staff supervision and mentorship; assist Program Manager.
• Student behavior observation and positive intervention.
• Parent communication and relationship building.
• Collaboration with host-site staff to ensure smooth EDMO operations.
• Administrative tasks: attendance, inventory, materials management.
• Program planning aligned with EDMO values and safety standards.
