Job summary

6AM City, LLC is seeking an IT Support Specialist to troubleshoot hardware and software across multiple company sites in Illinois. You will handle PC hardware issues, mobile devices, and basic network problem diagnosis, while supporting L1/L2 tasks and collaborating with the Service Desk and Remote Operations teams.

The role requires Windows Server experience, virtualization knowledge, ITIL foundations, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science is advantageous.
Windows/Cisco certifications are a plus.
ITIL Foundations desirable.
Minimum of 3 years in service delivery, preferably in a multi-national IT environment.
Ability to multitask and handle high volumes in a fast-paced environment.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Fluency in English communication (spoken, written).
Project experience is advantageous.
Good knowledge in configuring, managing and troubleshooting Windows Server OS.
Knowledge of server virtualization.
Ability to define and to check a Disaster Recovery Plan and a Business Continuity Plan.
Good knowledge of TCP/IP and basic Networking.

Responsibilities

Delivery of IT services for a site or multiple sites within a ratio of up to 300 devices per FTE.
Management of IT Service Delivery activities including user support processes, asset management, and budget coordination.
Support L1 and L2 for standard workstation deployment and support; L3 for server/virtualization.
Provide clear communication on changes and projects; educate end users.
Ensure activities align with global IT standards and security policies.
Project leadership for IT infrastructure and support process changes.
Maintain network documentation and monitoring tools.
Install/repair hardware and troubleshoot applications.
Printer and local network equipment management; data backup/restoration.
End user support including onboarding/offboarding and user training.
