Job summary

6AM City, LLC is seeking an IT Specialist to support day-to-day technical operations in a fast-growing environment. This entry-level role offers hands-on experience across IT areas, including user support, system maintenance, and basic network troubleshooting.

Under the direction of the COO, you will configure hardware, assist with onboarding/offboarding, perform routine updates and backups, and help maintain security practices while coordinating with vendors on technical services.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of relevant IT or technical support experience.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to employees for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Set up, configure, and maintain computers, printers, and mobile devices.
• Assist with onboarding/offboarding employees (account setup, permissions, equipment distribution).
• Monitor and maintain internal systems, including email, file storage, and security tools.
• Perform routine system updates, patches, and backups.
• Troubleshoot connectivity issues and elevate complex problems when necessary.
• Maintain IT documentation, inventory, and asset tracking.
• Support cybersecurity initiatives, including user access controls and basic security practices.
• Assist with implementation of new software, systems, or technology upgrades.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors for technical support and services.
