Job summary

Valeo, a global automotive supplier, is hiring a Site Human Resources Business Partner in Auburn Hills. You will manage HR duties for the site, including employee relations, hiring, training, salary administration and benefits, partnering with site managers and employees to ensure effective people processes.

You will lead talent development, job grading, onboarding, and compliance with labor laws, while driving engagement, safety, and performance improvements across the site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field and 3+ years in HR roles.
• Experience handling investigations, benefits questions, payroll & onboarding.
• Strong knowledge of local, state and federal labor laws.

Responsibilities

• Handle employee relations, investigations, and policy guidance.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and retention activities.
• Manage payroll, benefits questions and terminations when needed.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and safety regulations.
• Coach managers on talent development and HR processes.
• Coordinate site Talent Development campaigns and communications.
