Job summary

Clark Construction Group, LLC is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to coordinate field operations for specific areas and trades on a project, ensuring work proceeds per the plan and schedule while enforcing safety and quality standards.

You will supervise installation, review contract documents, plan activity durations, manage material deliveries, lead field teams and control costs, and uphold safety programs on site.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or related field.
• 3+ years of construction management experience in a field supervisory role.
• Ability to direct the work of others including subcontractors and suppliers.
• Working knowledge of construction processes including scheduling and contract administration.
• Well versed in safety and government regulations (e.g., OSHA).
• Alignment to Clark Standards of Excellence: self-motivated, results oriented, adaptable, team player.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate installation of work in accordance with the contract documents and project schedule.
• Be aware of milestone dates and requirements to achieve them.
• Understand the scope of work and duration of activities.
• Apply knowledge of equipment capability and develop utilization plans.
• Know material and equipment delivery dates impacting assigned areas/trades.
• Supervise field workforce and manage costs to align with budgets and expectations.
• Implement the safety program and perform regular safety inspections.
• Maintain good working relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.
