Job summary

Nexpera seeks an experienced Site EHS Manager to lead, implement, and sustain site-level EHS programs ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. You will act as the primary environmental authority for the site, partnering with leadership to drive continuous improvement, environmental stewardship, and a strong safety culture while supporting operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of EHS experience in industrial or manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of state environmental regulations, permitting and compliance.
• PSM experience preferred.
• Proficient with spreadsheets, email, slides and word processing; Google suite preferred; Intelex knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure full compliance with federal, state and local EHS regulations, including state-specific environmental regs.
• Lead site environmental programs for air, water, and waste, including Title V and NPDES permitting, DMRs, and RCRA.
• Serve as primary site contact for OSHA, EPA, and local authorities.
• Manage environmental permits, renewals, and reporting requirements.
• Plan for inspections/audits and lead responses to findings and corrective actions.
• Maintain and improve site EHS management systems in line with corporate standards.
• Conduct audits and inspections; drive continuous improvement and risk controls.
• Support MOC processes, incident investigations, and root cause analyses.
• Monitor EHS performance metrics and lead indicators; support emergency planning.
