Job summary

NEXPERA is seeking an Environmental, Health, & Safety Manager for our Darrow, LA site. The role leads site EHS programs, ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and acts as the liaison with regulatory agencies.

You will partner with site leadership to promote safety, environmental stewardship, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of EHS experience in industrial settings, a relevant bachelor’s degree, and familiarity with multi-media EHS programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of EHS experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
• Experience with state environmental regulations, permitting, and compliance.
• Certification in safety (e.g., CHMM, CSP) is preferred; TWIC required.

Responsibilities

• Lead site EHS programs to ensure regulatory compliance (federal, state, local).
• Manage air, water, and waste programs including Title V and NPDES.
• Serve as primary contact for OSHA, EPA, and local agencies.
• Coordinate regulatory inspections, audits, and corrective actions.
• Maintain EHS management systems and documentation.
