Job summary

NEXPERA seeks an experienced EHS Manager to lead and sustain site-level environmental, health, and safety programs in our Texas facility. You will partner with site leadership to drive continuous improvement, regulatory compliance, and a strong safety culture while supporting operational excellence.

The role requires 5+ years of EHS management in industrial settings, with preference for CHMM/CSP certifications and experience with PSM regulations. Travel and on-site work are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of EHS management experience in industrial/manufacturing settings.
• Certifications such as CHMM or CSP preferred; First Aid/CPR/AED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, implement, and sustain site-level EHS programs ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Conduct environmental, health, and safety audits and inspections.
• Identify risks with site leadership and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support management of change (MOC) processes.
• Maintain EHS records, OSHA logs, and internal metrics.
• Lead incident investigations and root cause analyses with corrective actions.
• Support emergency planning, drills, and response.
• Monitor and report EHS performance metrics and leading indicators.
• Collaborate with HR and Operations on workers’ comp and health initiatives.
• Provide Process Safety Management (PSM) support.
• Stay current on regulatory changes and ensure compliance.
• Serve as primary site contact for OSHA, EPA and local authorities.
• Manage environmental permits, renewals, and reporting.
• Support HOP implementation site-wide.
