Job summary

Moog Inc in Orrville, OH is seeking a Site Senior EHS Engineer to lead environmental, health, and safety initiatives on the manufacturing floor. You will implement site EHS programs, ensure compliance with local, state, and federal codes, and train staff across the facility.

Strong data interpretation and regulatory reporting skills are required. The role reports to the QA Control Manager and requires hands-on leadership on a fast-paced shop floor with multi-priority priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental science, safety, chemical, engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive EHS experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Identify hazards, assess risks, and develop solutions to minimize them.
• Interpret EHS data and take appropriate action.
• Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions for EHS incidents.
• Hands-on manufacturing shop floor experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Collect and calculate environmental and safety data across the site and prepare regulatory reports.
• Monitor process owners to ensure compliance procedures are implemented and maintained.
• Identify hazards, analyze risks, and develop procedures to reduce hazards.
• Create and update EHS procedures and audit programs.
• Deliver EHS training and maintain records of audits and training.
• Ensure regulatory permits, data reporting, and EHS systems stay compliant.
• Support emergency response activities and lead the team when needed.
• Collaborate with Site Leadership Team and Corporate EHS on initiatives.
