Job summary

Moog is seeking an Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Compliance Specialist to join the Space & Defense team. The role is onsite in Highland Heights, OH with travel to Johnson City, TN (20–50%).

The position reports to the ROS General Manager and supports EHS programs across two Moog sites, ensuring regulatory and corporate standards are met. You will develop training, manage permits and reporting, and drive continuous improvement in EHS performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety, Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field.
• 3 years of manufacturing EHS experience including waste management and hazardous materials transportation.
• Hazard identification, risk assessment, and corrective actions.
• EHS compliance, data analysis, and reporting; developing EHS programs and conducting gap assessments.

Responsibilities

• Lead EHS programs across two manufacturing facilities, ensuring regulatory and corporate compliance.
• Develop and deliver EHS training for employees, supervisors, and contractors.
• Collect, analyze, and report EHS data to support compliance and continuous improvement.
• Identify workplace hazards, assess risk, and implement corrective actions.
• Develop, maintain, and improve EHS policies, procedures, and audit programs.
• Interpret regulations and provide guidance to leadership.
