Job summary

Moog in Orrville, OH is seeking a Site Senior Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Engineer to lead site EHS programs and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal codes. You will manage data collection, regulatory reporting, training, and incident investigations on a hands-on manufacturing floor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental science, safety, chemical, engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive EHS experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Identify hazards, assess risks, and develop solutions to eliminate or minimize them.
• Interpret EHS data and take appropriate action.
• Write, implement, and continuously improve site EHS programs.
• Lead root cause investigations and corrective action analyses for EHS incidents.

Responsibilities

• Arrange for and ensure precise collection and calculation of all environmental/safety data and submit regulatory reports.
• Monitor process owners to ensure compliance procedures are implemented and maintained.
• Identify hazards and analyze risks across operations.
• Create or modify EHS procedures and audit programs to manage hazards/risks.
• Create and deliver EHS training programs and maintain records.
• Review and interpret EHS regulations and propose compliant processes.
• Provide guidance that develops compliant solutions and opportunities for improvements.
• Ensure regulatory permit requirements and reporting data are monitored and updated for compliance.
• Support emergency response activities and be on-call for emergencies.
• Interface with regulatory agencies for inspections and corrective actions.
• Complete submissions for internal and external EHS requests (e.g., ESG energy usage, OSHA reporting).
• Collaborate with Site Leadership Team and Corporate EHS Management as needed.
