Job summary

Moog is seeking an Environmental, Health and Safety Compliance Engineer to implement and execute EHS programs at the Blacksburg, VA site. You will report to the Site EHS Manager and lead EHS initiatives to reduce risk while ensuring regulatory and corporate standards are met.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of manufacturing EHS experience, plus skills in training development, data analysis, and incident response.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in environmental science, safety, chemical, engineering or related degree.
• 3 years of manufacturing-related environmental, health, and safety experience.
• Management of hazardous waste and hazardous materials transportation.
• Experience writing EHS programs and conducting training.
• Ability to interpret EHS data and take action.

Responsibilities

• Lead EHS programs ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Deliver EHS training and drive workforce engagement.
• Maintain consistent EHS practices across site.
• Collect, analyze, and report EHS data.
• Identify hazards, assess risk, and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and audit programs.
• Interpret regulations and implement compliant solutions.
• Support site operations with EHS guidance and continuous improvement.
