Job summary

Moog Inc. is seeking an Environmental, Health and Safety Compliance Specialist to lead and coordinate EHS programs at Highland Heights, OH and Johnson City, TN.

The role reports to the Rugged Optical Solutions General Manager and requires onsite presence with regular travel between sites. You will implement corporate EHS standards, develop training, collect and analyze data, and drive continuous improvement while ensuring regulatory compliance and risk reduction across manufacturing facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety, Engineering, Chemistry, or related field.
• 3 years of manufacturing EHS experience with waste management, hazard identification, and compliance.
• Strong communication, training, and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office; training tools such as PowerPoint and Articulate.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead EHS programs across two facilities, ensuring regulatory and corporate compliance.
• Develop and deliver EHS training for employees, supervisors, and contractors.
• Collect, analyze, and report EHS data to drive continuous improvement.
• Identify hazards, assess risk, and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain and improve EHS policies, procedures, and audit programs.
• Interpret regulations and provide practical guidance to leadership and staff.
• Manage environmental permits, regulatory reporting, OSHA submissions, ESG metrics.
• Support emergency response and coordinate with regulatory agencies.
• Travel between Highland Heights, OH and Johnson City, TN as required.
