Job summary

Lvi-Associates is seeking an experienced Heavy Civil Estimator to support bidding and preconstruction for full site development packages in Philadelphia, PA. The role targets professionals with strong earthwork estimation and civil plans knowledge.

The candidate will prepare detailed estimates, review drawings, perform digital takeoffs, and collaborate with project teams to win bids while pursuing cost-effective solutions.

Qualifications

• 3–7+ years of estimating experience in site development or heavy civil.
• Strong understanding of civil plans and production rates.
• Proficiency with takeoff/estimating software (Agtek, HCSS, Bluebeam, etc.).
• Excellent communication, organization, and analytical skills.
• Degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred but optional.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed estimates for earthwork, utilities, stormwater, paving, and complete site packages.
• Review drawings, specs, and reports to determine accurate quantities and scope.
• Perform digital takeoffs and evaluate subcontractor/supplier pricing.
• Maintain cost data and participate in bid reviews and handoffs.
• Collaborate with project teams and develop strong industry relationships.
