Job summary

LeoForce, a leading sitework contractor serving the Greater Philadelphia Area, seeks a Senior Site Work Estimator to join our team. You will prepare detailed cost estimates for site work and demolition, evaluate quotes, and leverage HCSS Heavybid to craft comprehensive bids.

You will collaborate with project managers and clients, participate in pre-bid activities, and update estimates as projects evolve. A background in preconstruction and a proactive, team-oriented mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in construction estimating, focusing on site work and demolition.
• Strong preconstruction and bidding knowledge.
• Proficiency with estimating software such as HCSS Heavybid or equivalent.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical abilities with attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for teamwork.
• Proactive mindset to anticipate issues and craft solutions.
• Solid understanding of construction processes, materials, and regulations.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for site work and demolition projects.
• Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes for alignment with specs and scope.
• Use estimating software (HCSS Heavybid) to generate accurate bids.
• Collaborate with project managers and team during preconstruction to provide input.
• Attend pre-bid meetings, site visits, and estimate reviews.
• Track and update project costs; adjust estimates as needed.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, subs, and suppliers.
• Assist in contract negotiation and award decisions.
