Job summary

Horrocks in Idaho Falls is seeking a Professional Engineer/Project Manager for Site Development to own projects from start to finish. You will develop work plans, oversee schedules, budgets, and client communication, delivering roadway, drainage, water, and sewer designs with AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Qualifications

• 3 years of Civil PE licensure experience
• 7–10 years of progressive civil design experience (drainage, utilities, roadway, development)
• Strong project management and delivery skills
• Ability to bid projects and develop execution plans
• Excellent client and personnel communication

Responsibilities

• Develop project work plans and scopes of work
• Provide project oversight and schedule monitoring
• Prepare fee proposals and manage budgets/invoicing
• Prepare roadway, drainage, water, and sewer plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Produce technical memos, design plans and specifications, and technical reports
• Quality assurance for project deliverables
• Prepare calculations, construction specs, and permitting across jurisdictions
• Prepare engineer cost opinions through development to tender/bid
• Manage development and redevelopment projects for private/public clients
• Collaborate with Horrocks leaders on multi-disciplinary pursuits
• Maintain communications with clients and project teams
• Technical reporting and presentations
• Construction observation and coordination with contractors
• Ensure staff resources are productive and profitable
• Conduct regular meetings balancing project needs and staff availability
