Horrocks in Boise, Idaho, seeks a Roadway/Site Engineer to own projects from start to finish, developing work plans, managing budgets, and guiding teams to deliver roadway, drainage, and site layouts using AutoCAD Civil 3D.

The role emphasizes client communication, QA of deliverables, and coordination with contractors throughout the project lifecycle, from feasibility to bid documents.

Qualifications

• Experience leading civil roadway/site projects from concept to final construction
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with clients and internal teams
• Ability to manage schedules, scopes of work, and budgets across multiple projects

Responsabilités

• Develop project work plans and scopes of work
• Provide project oversight and schedule monitoring
• Prepare fee proposals and track/manage project budgets and invoicing
• Prepare roadway, grading, drainage, water, and sewer plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Produce deliverables including design plans, specifications, and technical reports
• Administer QA for project deliverables
• Prepare supporting calculations, construction specs, and permitting
• Prepare opinions of probable cost across development stages
• Manage development and redevelopment projects for public and private clients
• Coordinate with construction contractors and clients
• Support multi-disciplinary pursuits with Horrocks practice leaders
• Maintain effective communications with project teams and clients
