Job summary

HDR is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer (Buildings) in Boise, ID to lead civil/site design across diverse projects, including site layouts, grading, drainage, and utilities. You will serve as Project Manager on larger projects and supervise a medium to large staff of professionals and technicians.

Requires a PE license, 10+ years of design experience, and proficiency with MicroStation, InRoads, and AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Responsibilities

• Design and plan production for civil/site projects (site layouts, grading, drainage, utilities).
• Conduct quantity calculations.
• Prepare specifications and contract documents.
• Perform complex engineering tasks requiring judgment on techniques and procedures.
• Serve as a technical expert with authority in a specialization.
• Plan and develop projects with significant impact on company programs.
• Supervise a medium to large team of professionals and technicians.
• Serve as Project Manager on larger projects when needed.
• Perform other duties as required.
