Job summary

Bechtel is leading civil/structural field engineering for the Ohio One semiconductor plant in New Albany, OH. The Lead CSA Field Engineer guides the site team, ensures quality, and coordinates with superintendents and subcontractors.

You will mentor engineers, manage work packages, review designs, and support safety, cost, and schedule objectives across concrete, steel, earthworks, and architectural systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) in a related field.
• Ability to read and understand plans, sections, details, shop drawings, and other design documents.
• Ability to lead and develop a team of field engineers across multiple concurrent work fronts.
• Must be physically able to conduct field inspections and participate in project walk-downs with extensive site activity.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen.
• Demonstrated commitment to Environment, Safety, and Health (ES&H) and Zero Accident safety.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop the CSA field engineers assigned to the area.
• Own the quality and timeliness of CSA work packages and the multi-cycle review process.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to address constructability and design challenges across commodity installations.
• Provide field engineering support to superintendents and project personnel, ensuring cost and schedule objectives.
• Direct work plan development, material take-offs, quality control inspections, and documentation.
