Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a Lead Architectural Field Engineer for the New Albany, Ohio project. You will support the construction team with field engineering, work package creation, and coordination between concrete operations and architectural installations to meet cost and schedule targets.

The role requires strong knowledge of ACI codes, experience with drywall and ceiling systems, and the ability to manage change in a fast-paced environment while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 8–10 years of relevant experience or 12–14 years total.
• Thorough understanding of architectural plans and specifications.
• Experience with concrete operations and ACI codes.
• Experience in semiconductor fab facilities and clean room construction preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with engineering on constructability and design issues.
• Provide field engineering support to superintendents and subcontractors.
• Develop work plans, material take-offs, and inspections documentation.
• Coordinate architectural scope with drywall, ceilings, and enclosures installations.
• Uphold Bechtel safety and quality standards on site.
