Job summary

Old Colony YMCA is seeking a Site Coordinator to lead our School Age program and supervise a dedicated team. You will engage families, ensure a safe, fun environment for children, and uphold YMCA policies and licensing requirements.

The role emphasizes planning engaging activities, staff development, enrollment growth, and community partnerships, with daily operations during after-school hours across multiple sites.

Qualifications

  • CPR/AED and First Aid certifications required- willing to train.
  • Evidence of physical examination within last 12 months.
  • Ability to lift/move heavy equipment and clean when necessary.
  • Willing to work early mornings, late nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Understand, implement, and maintain compliance with all EEC regulations and Old Colony Y policies.
  • Plan, develop, and implement engaging, age-appropriate program curriculum in accordance with EEC regulations and Old Colony YMCA policies.
  • Develop programming that recognizes and supports the individual needs of each child.
  • Provide leadership and oversight of daily activities, including homework help, STEM activities, arts and crafts, and group games.
  • Supervise children throughout all program areas, field trips, and events.
  • Maintain a positive and supportive environment while ensuring appropriate child behavior.
  • Communicate promptly and professionally with parents, school personnel, and community partners.
  • Represent YMCA programs through public appearances and positive interactions with families.
