Job summary

YMCA of Northern Utah is seeking an After-School Program Assistant in Ogden to plan, lead, and deliver engaging youth activities after school. You will work under the Site Coordinator, supervise groups, and help create a safe, welcoming environment that supports academic, social, emotional, and physical well-being.

Qualifications

• Minimum 16 years of age and high school graduate or equivalent.
• Requires 6 months experience with behavior management of youth in larger groups.
• CPR/First Aid and AED, infant/child certification, Food Handlers Permit must be current.
• Ability to pass background checks and fingerprinting.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of participants by following childcare licensing guidelines.
• Promote belonging, relationships, and achievement in after-school programs.
• Develop and deliver engaging lessons to youth in the after-school setting.
• Supervise youth and maintain a safe, disciplined environment.
