Job summary

Balfour Beatty US in Dallas, TX seeks a Construction Coordinator to support the education/municipal team. You will assist the Superintendent, coordinate subcontractors, and supervise trades at the project site to ensure quality per contract documents for interior and exterior work.

• Able to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
• OSHA training within the first six months of employment.
• Ability to organize people, tools and multiple activities to meet schedules.

Responsibilities

• Monitors the schedule of work for each subcontractor and ensures proper methods and materials meet contract requirements.
• Attains understanding of contract drawings, specifications and scope of work.
• Coordinates subcontractor coordination drawings and RFIs/COs with the Superintendent.
• Reviews installed work for compliance with submittals and contract documents.
• Maintains high safety awareness and communicates expectations with subcontractors.
• Coordinates finish materials deliveries including MEP rough-ins, drywall, painting, and finishes.
• Supports pre-final inspections and ensures timely punch list closure.
