Job summary

Balfour Beatty Construction is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join our Special Projects Group in Dallas, TX. The SPE assists the Project Manager with planning, scheduling, and daily execution of construction projects within the DFW market.

This role requires coordinating with subcontractors, reviewing submittals, and ensuring on-time delivery of materials while maintaining budgets and schedules. Travel is zero overnight; on-site work in Dallas.

Qualifications

• BS in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager with planning and daily execution of construction projects.
• Maintain project schedules by managing submittal approvals, material delivery, and budget tracking.
• Coordinate subcontractor compliance with Contract Documents and project safety programs.
• Manage submittal logs and coordination drawings with subcontractors and the Superintendent.
• Attend meetings with Architect/Engineer and owner representatives and prepare progress reports.
