Balfour Beatty US is seeking an entry-level Project Engineer to join our education/municipal team in Dallas, TX. You will assist the Project Manager and Sr. Project Engineer with planning, submittals, scheduling, and budgeting to ensure projects meet quality, profitability, and safety goals.

The role emphasizes coordination, client service, and relationship management, with opportunities to learn lean practices and contribute to Zero Harm culture on active construction sites.

Qualifications

• B.S. (Construction Management degrees preferred)
• One six-month intern co-op with a construction company
• Proficiency with a PC and Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Responsibilities

• Support Project Manager and Sr. Project Engineer with planning and daily execution
• Manage submittal approvals and material delivery timelines
• Maintain schedules and budgets to ensure quality and profitability
• Support safety and Zero Harm culture on site
• Assist with coordination for sub-contractor meeting minutes
