Job summary

Balfour Beatty Construction in Dallas, TX is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for our education/municipal team. You will support the Project Manager on K-12, higher education and municipal projects in the DFW area, ensuring quality, profitability and safety standards.

You will assist with contracts, approvals, submittals, schedules, budgets and procurement, coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers, and help manage project closeout.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• 4 years of experience on projects of various sizes.
• Experience with project management software such as Procore and P6.
• Experience with cost projection, financial analysis, budget reviews, and labor reports.
• Experience with JD Edwards or similar construction applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager to determine resources needed (people, tools, equipment, materials) for each project.
• Support with contract administration, change orders, submittals, procurement, and scheduling.
• Assist in preparing budgets and cost projections and ensure safety commitments.
• Attend planning, progress, and close-out meetings, and monitor project concerns and changes.
