Job summary

Balfour Beatty Construction is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for our education/municipal team in Dallas, TX. This role supports the Project Manager with administrative and technical duties to ensure projects—K-12, higher education, and municipal—are completed on time, within budget, and safely.

You will coordinate preconstruction, scheduling, procurement, and project closeout activities in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
• 4 years of experience on projects of various sizes.
• Experience with project management software and cost projection.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager to determine resources needed for each project.
• Help manage cost, procurement, schedule, and subcontractor coordination.
• Ensure safety, quality, and adherence to contract requirements.
• Assist in preparing budgets, bid packages, and closeout activities.
