Job summary

Samet Corporation is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to join our Greensboro, NC team. You will partner with the Superintendent to plan, sequence, and drive general trades on-site, coordinating crews, schedules, and trade partners while upholding safety and quality standards.

You will support site safety plans, manage subcontractor activities, develop look-ahead schedules, and maintain detailed project documentation.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
OSHA 30 certification required for all field associates.
Proficiency in Bluebeam and familiarity with other construction software tools.
Experience coordinating RFIs, submittals, and punch lists preferred.
Working knowledge of plans, specifications, and construction documentation processes.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

Support site safety plans and OSHA compliance.
Assist in coordinating subcontractor activities, sequencing, deliveries, and quality control.
Participate in project planning, look-ahead schedules and daily work plans.
Maintain accurate daily field reports, photos, and project documentation.
Conduct quality inspections to ensure work meets specs and standards.
Attend weekly progress meetings and report project status.
