Job summary

Samet Corporation seeks a Superintendent I to lead construction projects from start to finish, directing field teams and coordinating with owners, designers, and trade partners to deliver on time and on budget.

You'll drive schedules, oversee subcontractors, and manage quality and safety programs while building strong client relationships across healthcare, education, commercial, and multi-family markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, construction engineering, or a related field.
• 3-5 years minimum experience as a construction project superintendent.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification required.
• Lean Construction practices and LEED knowledge preferred.
• Mastery of construction methods, building codes, and safety regulations.
• Commitment to continuous professional development.

Responsibilities

• Provide field oversight for all phases of assigned construction projects.
• Develop and manage project schedules.
• Manage subcontractor performance.
• Prepare project documentation for coordination and site management.
• Implement and execute Quality Control/Quality Assurance programs.
• Promote an injury-free job site through safety initiatives and our safety program.
• Develop relationships with owners, designers, subcontractors, and trade partners.
• Ensure site work is completed according to project plans and specifications.
