Job summary

Samet Corporation is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to support the Charlotte project team. You’ll partner with the Superintendent to plan, sequence, and drive trades on-site, ensuring safety, quality, and consistency across activities.

Responsibilities include coordinating subcontractors, developing look-ahead schedules, maintaining field reports, and participating in progress meetings. A Bachelor’s degree and OSHA 30 are required, with proficiency in Bluebeam preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• OSHA 30 certification mandatory.
• Proficiency in Bluebeam and familiarity with construction software tools.
• Experience in quality assurance and safety initiatives.
• Knowledge of plans, specs, and construction documentation processes.
• Experience managing RFIs, submittals, and punch lists preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support site safety plans and OSHA compliance.
• Coordinate subcontractor activities and material deliveries.
• Assist in project planning, look-ahead schedules, and daily work plans.
• Maintain daily field reports and photo documentation.
• Conduct regular quality inspections against specifications.
• Participate in weekly progress meetings and report status.
