Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, submits this position for a project site-based role in Phoenix, Arizona. You will coordinate field operations with the site lead, manage scheduling, and oversee subcontractors to maintain safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

Responsibilities include daily reporting, progress photography, documentation control, and support to the Project Construction Manager with monthly progress and contract payments. 100% travel is required for project execution.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus nine (9) years of construction or field operations experience.
• Associate degree plus six (6) years of construction or field operations experience.
• Bachelor’s degree plus three (3) years of relevant experience. The associate or bachelor’s degree must be in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate overall field operations with the site construction lead, including project scheduling, daily reporting, quality control, adherence to drawings and specs, and subcontractor communication.
• Oversee subcontractors and construction activities to ensure safety and quality per project drawings and specifications.
• Ensure work aligns with the project schedule; escalate delays to the Project Construction Manager.
• Prepare Daily Reports and Quality Inspection Reports as official project records.
• Take progress photographs and label each photo for documentation.
• Assist with Monthly Progress Reports and maintain design drawing revisions on site.
• Provide assistance to the Project Construction Manager as needed.
• May oversee key trades/subcontractors in support of the project.
• Prepare contract extras and progress payments with the Project Manager.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent + 9 years construction/field ops experience

Associate degree + 6 years construction/field ops experience

Bachelor’s degree + 3 years relevant experience in Construction Management/Engineering
