Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, seeks a field operations professional to join our Phoenix project site in Arizona. You will coordinate site activities, supervise subcontractors, and ensure safety and quality per drawings and schedule.

Responsibilities include daily reporting, progress tracking, maintaining records, and supporting the Project Construction Manager with monthly reports and contract extras. Travel is 100% as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with nine (9) years of construction or field operations experience.
• Associate degree with six (6) years of construction or field operations experience.
• Bachelor’s degree with three (3) years of relevant experience in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate site operations with the site construction lead, including scheduling, daily reporting, quality control, and subcontractor communication.
• Oversee subcontractors to ensure safety, quality, and alignment with drawings and specifications.
• Maintain the project schedule and escalate delays to the Project Construction Manager.
• Prepare Daily Reports and Quality Inspection Reports as official project records.
• Take progress photographs and label each photograph for records.
• Assist with Monthly Progress Reports and ensure up-to-date design drawings are used.
• Support Project Construction Manager and may manage key trades/subcontractors.
• Prepare contract extras and progress payments with the Project Manager.
• Communicate professionally with management and clients; maintain on-site records per document control standards.
