Job summary

Langan is seeking an Intern/Co‑op - Site/Civil Engineering to join our New York team. The role supports feasibility studies, field work, and preparation of technical reports and design plans for land development projects.

You will work with industry leaders on a variety of site development tasks, gaining hands‑on experience and professional growth in a collaborative environment. This paid internship offers exposure to engineering design, reports, and permitting processes.

Qualifications

• Student actively pursuing a four year or advanced degree in Civil Engineering; GPA 3.0+ preferred.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD or Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office Suite applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, design and permitting of civil engineering and land development projects.
• Prepare and modify engineering documents including reports, plans and cost estimates using AutoCAD/Civil 3D.
• Analyze soil, terrain, hydrological data and geologic information for project planning.
• Support zoning, permit assessments and feasibility analyses; assist with field inspections as needed.
• Collaborate with team members and perform other duties as requested.
