Job summary

Langan is seeking an Intern/Co-op – Site/Civil Engineering to join our team in New York, NY. This role supports site feasibility studies, field work, and preparation of design plans and specifications on land development projects.

You will partner with industry leadership to gain hands-on experience across multiple disciplines while contributing to meaningful projects in a collaborative environment. This internship offers growth, training, and exposure to real-world infrastructure challenges.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a four-year or advanced degree in Civil Engineering.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, design and permitting of civil engineering projects.
• Prepare and modify engineering documents using AutoCAD, Civil 3D and related software.
• Use reports, maps, drawings and plans to assess site conditions and data.
• Support zoning, permit assessments and project feasibility analyses.
• Provide field inspection support as needed.
• Apply engineering knowledge and advanced mathematics.
• Collaborate with team members on tasks and assignments.
• Perform other duties as requested.
