Job summary

Langan Engineering & Environmental Services is seeking an Intern/Co-op – Site/Civil Engineering to join its collaborative team in Charlotte, NC. This role supports site feasibility studies, field work, technical reports, and design plans. You will learn from industry leaders across land development projects.

Preference will be given to students in Jr. or Sr. year or pursuing an MS degree. Langan emphasizes training, flexible schedules, wellness programs, and career growth.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a four year or advanced degree in Civil Engineering.
• GPA 3.0+ preferred.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD or Civil 3D and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, design and permitting of civil projects.
• Prepare and modify engineering documents (reports, plans, specs, schedules).
• Assess soil, terrain, hydrological data for planning and design.
• Support zoning, permits, and feasibility analyses.
• Provide field inspection services as needed.
• Collaborate with team on project tasks and assignments.
• Perform other duties as requested.
