Job summary

Langan is seeking an Intern/Co-op – Site/Civil Engineering to join its collaborative team in Princeton, NJ. This role supports site feasibility studies, which may include field work, technical reports, calculations, and preparation of design plans and specifications.

You will learn by partnering with industry leadership on a variety of land development projects, expanding technical and professional skills while contributing to real-world solutions.

Qualifications

• Student actively pursuing a four year or advanced degree in Civil Engineering; GPA 3.0+ preferred.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD or Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office Suite applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail with analytical, multitasking, and judgment capabilities.
• Able to work independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, design and permitting of civil engineering and infrastructure projects.
• Prepare and modify reports, specifications, plans, schedules, cost estimates and design plans using engineering software.
• Assess soil composition, terrain, hydrological and geologic data for planning and design.
• Support zoning, ordinance and permit assessments; assist with feasibility analysis.
• Provide field inspection services as needed.
• Collaborate with team members on project tasks; perform other duties.
