Qualifications

• Pursuing a four year or advanced degree in Civil Engineering; GPA 3.0+ preferred.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD or Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail with analytical and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work independently and in a team; reliable transportation and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, design and permitting of civil engineering, land development and infrastructure projects.
• Assist with preparation and modification of reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, cost estimates and design plans using engineering software.
• Use reports, maps, drawings, and data to assess soil, terrain, hydrology, topography and geology for planning and design.
• Support zoning, ordinance and permit assessments; assist with sidewalk estimations; determine project feasibility from data.
• Provide field inspection services as needed.
• Apply engineering knowledge and advanced mathematics.
• Collaborate with team members on project tasks and assignments; perform other duties as requested.
