Job summary

Langan is seeking a Site/Civil Engineering Intern/Co-op to join our New Haven team. You will support site feasibility studies, field work, reports, calculations, and pre-construction documentation while learning from senior engineers.

You’ll gain hands-on experience on land development projects, with exposure to design plans, specifications, and permitting processes in a collaborative environment that emphasizes training and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a four-year or advanced degree in Civil Engineering (intern/coop).
• Cumulative GPA 3.0+ preferred.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD/Civil 3D and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, design and permitting of civil and site development projects.
• Support creation and modification of reports, plans, schedules, cost estimates, and design documents using AutoCAD, Civil 3D and other software.
• Review soil, hydrology, terrain data and geologic information to support project feasibility.
• Assist with zoning, permit assessments, and feasibility analyses.
• Provide field inspection support as needed.
• Collaborate with team members and perform other duties as assigned.
