Seeking a new career challenge? Then Woolpert is seeking you! Woolpert is hiring a Site Civil Engineer/PE to join our dynamic team. This position would be aligned with any of these offices: Charlotte, NC, Columbia, SC, Atlanta, GA, Orlando, FL, Tampa, FL and would support full-time in-person/hybrid working arrangements.






Responsibilities




Essential Functions

    Design and create site layout plans in alignment with client requirements and Woolpert standards.
  • Utilized AutoCAD Civil 3D to develop concept plans, grading plans, and site designs.
  • Work with project management teams to identify impediments and develop/implement solutions to overcome obstacles.
  • Perform site due diligence assessments and compile data and reports.
  • Perform occasional field work and frequent local travel, and overnight travel, as needed.





Qualifications




Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum of BS in Civil Engineering and 5 years related experience.
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) certification is required.
  • Experience in Autodesk Civil 3D.
  • Experience in hydraulics and hydrology preferred.
  • Strong interest and working knowledge in hydrology and stormwater management.
  • Proven ability to multitask, appropriately prioritize workflow, and complete tasks.
