Summary

We seek Senior Professional Engineers experienced in evaluating distress in existing buildings, structures, and envelopes. Responsibilities include overseeing investigative projects, coordinating with clients, site visits, resource management, report writing, analysis, review of building codes, and ensuring timely project delivery. Candidates should have an established network of clientele and be adept at building and maintaining professional relationships.

This is a remote position open to candidates across the US.

Role & Responsibilities

1. Lead project management and coordination.
2. Coordinate site visits and deliverables with clients.
3. Manage project resources and deadlines.
4. Produce comprehensive reports integrating inspection data and analysis.
5. Conduct site visits to collect field data.
6. Review and interpret relevant building codes.
7. Oversee repair design development if requested.
8. Make independent project decisions on analysis, testing, and resources.
9. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Active PE license required
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Minimum 10 years’ forensic engineering experience preferred
• Proven ability to produce detailed technical reports
• Salary and bonuses commensurate with experience

Compensation Range: $140,000 - $275,000 USD per year (Remote)
