PEPL has been engaged to place an Engineer for a growing water tank services business headquartered in Georgia. We are seeking a Civil, Mechanical, or Operations Engineer who will be responsible for ensuring the water storage tanks throughout the southeast meet safety and regulatory standards through site assessments. This leader will conduct concrete structure inspections as well as have the opportunity to design a mixing system with pumps, nozzles, and fluids to meet upcoming EPA water tank guidelines. This role is remote with 25% travel in the southeast.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain water storage tanks to ensure they meet safety and regulatory standards.
• Conduct site assessments and evaluations to determine project feasibility and requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers and other engineers to create detailed plans and specifications.
• Oversee construction and maintenance activities to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Perform inspections and quality assurance checks on water tanks and related infrastructure.
• Prepare technical reports and documentation for clients and regulatory authorities.
• Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and team members to maintain strong relationships built on integrity and respect.
• Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices to deliver innovative solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of civil or mechanical engineering experience.
• Need to be capable of climbing and inspecting at heights up to 250 feet.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license is highly preferred.
• NACE/AMPP Certifications a plus.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles, design practices, and relevant regulations.
• Proficient in engineering software and tools for design and analysis.
• Demonstrated experience with project management and leading engineering teams.
• Experience in conducting site assessments and feasibility studies.
• Strong track record of successfully completing projects that adhere to safety, quality, and budgetary guidelines.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• ~25% or more travel potential.
