Position: Civil Engineer (Renewables) | REMOTE | $100K - $125K base + bonus

The Role

We are seeking a Civil Engineer with strong experience in site development, grading, stormwater design, and structural design for renewable energy and land development projects.

Note: More junior candidates will be required to work on-site in FL.

Responsibilities

• Prepare site development plans, grading plans, drainage maps, erosion control, and access road designs.
• Create and maintain Civil 3D drawings, including site plans, landscape layouts, profiles, cross sections, general notes, and detail drawings.
• Perform earthwork analysis.
• Develop model space layouts, surface modeling, and alignments.
• Ensure compliance with local codes, industry standards, and client requirements.
• Assist in or perform structural design, including load calculations, sizing, and detailing using structural software.
• Ensure structural designs align with applicable codes and site conditions.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 5 years of civil engineering experience.
• 1-4 years of renewables experience.
• EIT or PE certification preferred.
